Pay Cut for Politicians
Now this is what I call setting an example.
The President of Nigeria, Umaru Yar’Adua, has proposed a pay cut for all political office holders across the country in view of the financial crisis. He also called on all public office holders to make personal sacrifices for the good of the nation.

Richard is a Conservative Councillor on Reading Borough Council representing Peppard ward since 2007, having been re-elected in May 2011. He previously represented Thames ward from 2001 to 2004. He is currently the Conservative Shadow Cabinet Member for Strategic Planning and Transport on Reading Borough Council.
