Reading West Labour Selection – Further Update
I have been told that contrary to earlier rumours Antonia Bance is not standing for the Reading West Labour selection.
However, Raj Chadha, former leader of Camden Council is.
So the updated list of potential Labour candidates is now:
Cllr Mark Bennett - Lambeth
Cllr Lisa Homan – Hammersmith & Fulham (ex Sutton & Cheam PPC 2001)
Raj Chadha – Camden
Cllr Naz Sarkar – Waltham Forest
Cllr Akhtar Zaman – Bolton
If you have any more information please do let me know. I am particularly interested to know about potential local candidates.

Richard is a Conservative Councillor on Reading Borough Council representing Peppard ward since 2007, having been re-elected in May 2011. He previously represented Thames ward from 2001 to 2004. He is currently the Conservative Shadow Cabinet Member for Strategic Planning and Transport on Reading Borough Council. Richard stood for Parliament in Sutton and Cheam in 2005 and from 2005-2008 was Chief of Staff to Rob Wilson MP (Reading East).
