New YouGov Poll – Labour Leader’s Rating Turns Negative
There is a new YouGov poll reported in today’s Sunday Times showing the Conservatives and Labour level pegging and the Lib Dems down to just 9%:
Conservative 40% (down 2%)
Labour 40% (no change)
Lib Dem 9% (down 1%)
The Government’s approval rating is minus 14, with 50% disapproving of the goverment for the first time.
David Cameron’s net rating drops to +2, still the best of the three main party leaders but the lowest he has had as Prime Minister. Nick Clegg’s approval rating is down to -22, down from -13 a week ago and by far his worst score as leader. Ed Miliband’s approval rating has also dropped into negative territory for the first time, down to -9 (28% approve, 37% disapprove). Political Betting has a good summary here.
Changes shown are compared to the last daily YouGov poll I reported on 23 November.
