New ICM Poll – Labour Ahead by 4%

There is a new ICM poll in the Guardian showing Labour stretching their lead over the Conservatives to 4%:

       Conservative              35% (down 2%)

                                                  Labour                        39% (up 1%)

                                                  Lib Dem                      13% (down 1%)

This poll is now broadly in line with YouGov following revisions to their methodology

ICM Research interviewed a random sample of 1,003 adults aged 18 and above by telephone on 21-23 October 2011.

  1. Seems to waver about these figures, no definite clear break one way or the other. I’m still not happy to see Lib-Dems in double figures. It will be interesting to see if the Referendum Vote last night has any effect.

    • You’re such a hypocrite Tinniswood; you had nothing good to say about the Labour Party when you were at school, you were an out and out Sun reading Tory Boy. Do us all a favour, spare us your inane, grammatically incorrect postings.

  4. Alot of water under the bridge since the original of this thread in Oct 2011!!!!!!!!!!!

However we seem to be back to that situation with Labour anything from 2% to 10% ahead of the Conservatives.

Roll on the May 3rd Local Elections so we can get a REAL assessment of the suituation.
