Conservative Local Election Broadcast

  1. I do have to ask, is “Brand Cameron” likely to be a vote WIINER or LOSER for Conservative Councillors and hopeful candidates in winnable seats? How many Muniicipal Toriies will groan inwardly if not publicly when they see those bland features on TV coupled to their cause and would rather stand on their own record as a Councillor and that of the Tory Group on their Council. Likewise I do NOT think that Ed Miliband is any advantage to his Local Council Candiates whilst having Nick Clegg on your Election Literature will be the Kiss of Death for many Lib-Dems on May 3rd. Better sometimes to fight Local Elections on Local Issues and leave the Party Leaders, unless they are popular with the voters at large, out of your campaign and off of your literature.

    • Steve – all the evidence, both polling and anecdotal, is that David Cameron is an asset to the Conservative Party and its candidates. The same cannnot be said for Miliband or Clegg!
